Our Repair & Service Process
We believe great service starts with clear communication and ends with quality results.
1. Request service: Call or schedule service online. We’ll arrange a convenient time and respond promptly.
2. Clear communication: You’ll receive an honest assessment before any work begins. For many of our residential repairs, we provide pricing estimates over the phone based on the information provided before even scheduling the job. If it is later discovered that the job is more complicated than anticipated, you will be advised before work proceeds.
3. Inspection & diagnosis: Our technician will perform a thorough inspection to identify the root cause of the issue.
4. Expert repair or replacement: Repairs are completed safely and efficiently using high-quality parts and proven methods.
5. Final testing & safety check: Before we leave, we test all components — springs, cables, rollers, operators, and safety systems — to ensure proper operation.
For commercial clients, we recommend regular professional maintenance to reduce breakdowns, extend equipment life, and maintain safe operation — especially for high-cycle or multi-door facilities.

Frequently Asked Questions
My garage door won’t open. What do I do?
Garage doors that won’t open could be a sign that there may be a broken part in the operator or even a broken spring or cable on the door. Please do NOT try to use the door as this could lead to injury or death. Give us a call today at (219) 663-2231 and set up a service call!
My garage door won’t close. What do I do?
Garage doors that won’t close could be a sign that there is something blocking the safety sensors at the bottom of the door. It could also be caused by another issue. If your door is crooked or jammed up, please do not attempt to fix it yourself and call us immediately. Consult with your owner’s manual for the operator on how to realign your photo eyes or give us a call today at (219) 663-2231 and set up a service call!
Can I do my own garage door repairs?
We do not recommend anyone working on their own garage door. Systems are under high tension, making them dangerous if you don’t have the proper tools, knowledge, and experience. It’s always safest to call a trained, certified technician.
How long does a garage door normally last?
The lifespan of most garage doors is 15-30 years. The exact lifespan depends on factors like quality, usage, and maintenance schedule. An annual tune-up to check springs, rollers, hinges, and other components can help your door last longer. High-use doors may require more frequent inspections.
